Since 1983 we have grown from a regional service contractor into an international manufacturer of industrial chillers and heat transfer systems.

Our manufacturing plant and corporate offices have also grown to over 70,000 sqft. Our state of the art facility is equipped with four (4) 15 ton overhead bridge cranes, 28 ft. under hook, eight (8) 1 ton jib cranes, a UL 508 panel shop, equipment test department, compressor rebuild shop, and a fully stocked factory service/parts department.

Our engineering department and technical sales departments are experienced in industrial refrigeration, chillers, heat transfer, and fluid pumping systems. Our design solutions incorporate energy conservation, heat recovery, and central control to provide peak efficiencies. Our designers utilize the latest Inventor Series Auto Cad systems for 3D drawings.

We design, engineer, and manufacture our own control panels in our UL 508 panel shop. We provide computer generated software and hardware drawing documentation and completely test and inspect all panels against required specifications.

OUR STORY

We were founded in Greenwood, South Carolina in 1936 by H P Mabry and Arthur Rush to haul cotton to Grendel and Panola Textile Mills. This is how the G & P name originated. It was purchased by W.T. Cassels, Jr. and family in September of 1986.

Today G & P Holding Company is an International Logistic Company providing inovation supply chain solutions throughout the world. We will continue investing in the Best People, the Best Technology and equipment to bring our customers the Best Value and Service.

GET PAID WHILE YOU TRAIN

JRayl Transport offers a six-week finishing school for CDL graduates. As a newly CDL driver starts their journey into the transportation industry. JRayl would like the opportunity to further that experience and provide valuable safety habits that will stay with the drivers for their entire driving career. The road knowledge necessary to be successful in the transportation industry begins at JRayl and we want the opportunity to help CDL graduates with a seamless transition from CDL school to the real world.

JRAYL REQUIREMENTS

JRayl Transport, as well as other employers, requirement for employment includes:

  • Commercial Driver’s License, Class A, 10 Speed Endorsement, No Restrictions
  • In the past 3 years:
    • No more than 3 moving violations
    • No serious or disqualifying traffic violations
    • No preventable accidents especially involving a fatality
    • No refused drug/alcohol tests or tested positive for drugs or alcohol
    • No possession of Marijuana or other controlled substances
  • No DUI’s within the past 5 years
  • Must not have a felony conviction relatable to the requirements of the position
  • Must travel in all states employer operates within
  • Must pass the DOT physical test(every 2 years) and be physically able and willing to handle the freight if necessary
  • Must pass a drug test whenever required

DRIVE SMART / DRIVE SAFE

JRayl’s training program is tailored to the individual. The goal of the program is to develop safe and successful drivers. The skills gained in the training program include:

  • Maneuverability
  • Defensive Driving
  • Planning Routes
  • Map Reading
  • E-Log Training
  • Customer Service Principles

JRayl offers reimbursement for tuition (up to $5,000.00) for CDL graduates and Mentor/Mentee Programs. JRayl would like the opportunity to help CDL graduates with a seamless transition from school to real world. JRayl wants the graduates to be safe and true professionals in the industry.

If you served a minimum of 4 years on active duty OR 10 years on reserve, you may be eligible to pull steady, flatbed freight for this award-winning carrier! We offer weekly home time, quality trucks and equipment, and up to $0.51 CPM starting pay potential. Lease purchase operators earn 65% of load earnings.

As part of our Military Recognition Program, we’ll reimburse your CDL-A school tuition if you used GI Bill funding. Veterans with military truck driver experience and a current CDL-A will train for OTR. If you don’t have flatbed experience, we’ll train you! Our company drivers work strictly with dry freight. That means no tankers or flatbeds. We only deal with shipments that fit in a 53’ trailer, and nothing more. As a dry van trucking service, our employees have the ease of hauling the same types of material to any given location. This makes scheduling, planning and hauling a load that much easier to predict and execute.

This system allows us to take a lot of stress off of our drivers. By carrying the same type of freight in the same 53’ trailers, freight can be hauled any time of the day, in any type of weather. Drivers also don’t need to worry about extra hazmat certifications. In addition, we have a “no-touch” freight policy, meaning all you have to focus on is driving! With this stress-free system, you may enjoy this job more than any job you’ve ever had!
