Transportation, Distribution & Logistics Registered Apprenticeships

As one of the U.S. Department of Labor’s selected Industry Intermediaries, Fastport has created a series of Registered Apprenticeship programs and occupations available for candidates to begin immediately and employers to create with one-on-one guidance and support. Apprenticeships range from logisticians and cyber experts to mechanics and managers, providing a variety of options for job seekers and employers alike. Over 20% of the nation’s transportation apprenticeships are currently housed under this program.

The Transportation, Distribution & Logistics industry employs 1 out of 14 working Americans. Because the industry is so large, it offers a sprawling variety of career choices —and a challenge for employers to fill all of the open positions it offers because many are high-skilled jobs that require on-the-job experience and training. Registered Apprenticeships offer a standardized way for candidates and employers to bridge these skills gaps, whether you’re looking to start or fill a career as a mechanic, manager, cyber expert, or driver.
